A truly inclusive school

Here at Hartsdown, we are committed to providing an inclusive, supportive environment where every student can succeed. We recognise that some students have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and may require support that is additional to, or different from, that provided for their peers. Our approach focuses on high-quality teaching, early identification of need and a graduated response to support, ensuring that barriers to learning are reduced and students can access a broad and ambitious curriculum. Our dedicated SEN team works closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies to ensure that all students with SEN are supported to achieve their potential academically, socially and emotionally.
