There is an exciting opportunity for students to visit The Royal Borough of Greenwich Equestrian Centre in the next few months. Emma Thorne, their centre Manager, will be offering tours or virtual talks to make school leavers aware of the courses available to them and the wide range of career opportunities within the Equine industry.

They offer Further Education Equine vocational qualifications at Level 2 & 3 as well as FdSc and BSc programmes through the University of Greenwich.  They have some excellent resources including: a wide range of horses, therapy centre, international sized indoor arena and a mechanical horse.  They will be able to provide demonstrations of horses using the swimming pool or the aqua treadmill including ridden demonstrations.  These facilities are unique in this area and it could be a fantastic opportunity for students to experience something new. If this is something you are interested in, then please contact Emma Thorne.

They also have an Open Day at Greenwich on Saturday 19th June from 10am-4pm. It will be your opportunity to ask tutors your questions, explore your course options and see where you could be studying. This event is open to both applicants and prospective students. For more information please click here.
