Action Against Litter Competition

Check out this competition run by Thanet District Council.   The winning design will be used in their Streetscene campaigns to help encourage people not to litter and fly-tip.  The winner will also receive £100 and two runners up £50 (one4all vouchers).

Holiday Activity Programme

What is the Holiday Activity Programme?
The Holiday Activity Programme is a free school holiday activity programme that operates during the school Easter and Summer holidays. The aim is to provide a high-quality holiday activity programme in Thanet’s most disadvantaged communities, with a nutritious meal every day, free of charge.

Easter Programme Details

Dates: Monday 12th – Thursday 15th April 2021

Times: 10am – 2pm

Venue: Drapers Mills Primary School, St Peter’s Footpath, Dane Valley, Margate CT9 2SP

Delivery Partners: Thanet District Council, Active Community Solutions, Changing Minds Kent, Inclusive Sport, Our Kitchen, Total Sports Coaching, Your Leisure.

Supported by: StreetGames, Thanet School Games Organiser.

Entry Criteria
To enter the programme, attendees MUST be:
– Eligible for free school meals
– Reside in Thanet

To book a place
Please complete the self-referral form on the link below. Please note that making an entry using this form does not guarantee a place on the programme. A member of staff from the Active Thanet Partnership team will be in touch following the entry to confirm their place.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to allocations of funds there are limited spaces for the programme. Where the programme becomes full, entries will be added to a waiting list and households will be contacted should a space open up. By referring a child, you confirm that they will attend each of the 4 days of delivery. They are unable to provide spaces on an ad-hoc basis.
