Year 9 have been working brilliantly in Geography this term and last term, participating in a “Get to know your world” competition. Students were asked to display, in any format they wished, a research piece about the real world case study of Hurricane Iota. This is part of the GCSE specification and it was a chance to bring the real world to life in the classroom!
Miss Reeve and Miss Simmons have now reviewed all the work submitted and the winners are;
Gold badge – Sophie Smethurst and Kelsey Merrifield
Silver badge – Charlie Heald
Bronze badge – Leonette Nunes-Pettman
Each student will receive a Geography award badge and a surprise treat, upon our return!
Well done to all those who took part, it was hard to judge!
