Preparing For A Level Results Day : Webinar

Not sure what to expect on A level results day? Youth Employment UK are here to help.  They are hosting an online event to cover all things A levels on Tuesday 11th August.

What is it? 

They will be joined by careers advice and guidance expert Julie Poppleton, Julie will be on hand to talk you through what is going to happen on results day, what you need to know beforehand and all of your options and next steps once you receive your results.

Apprentices and graduates will also be joining them for the session so you can hear directly from young people who have been where you are now and how they have navigated their way forward.

You will also get the chance to hear from some of their Youth Friendly Employers about the skills they are looking for when they are recruiting.

When is it? 

This event will run Tuesday 11th August between 1.00pm – 2.00pm, the event will run online via zoom.

If you have never used Zoom before you might want to read this before you join.

Resources for students receiving their GCSE, AS and A level qualifications this summer

Ofqual has published resources for students receiving their qualifications this summer. These resources include a student guide to post-16 qualification results that provides students with additional information to help them understand how their results have been awarded, what to expect on results day, options available to them if they are unhappy with their result, and details on the appeals process for GCSE, AS and A levels.

Careers Advice – Get Help With Your Life Choices

If you’re aged 14-24, Youth Employment UK has lots of information about early careers advice, choosing study subjects, money matters, mental health.  You can join them as a Young Professional for free skills training or as a Volunteer Youth Ambassador and their whole website explodes into life. Interact with tips, advice, mentoring and opportunities that match your interests.

The University of Suffolk Virtual Taster Sessions
