Youth Employment UK have shared some useful information for students receiving their GCSE results this week
What is it?
They will be joined by careers advice and guidance expert Julie Poppleton, Julie will be on hand to talk you through what is going to happen on results day, what you need to know beforehand and all of your options and next steps once you receive your results.
Apprentices and graduates will also be joining them for the session so you can hear directly from young people who have been where you are now and how they have navigated their way forward.
You will also get the chance to hear from some of their Youth Friendly Employers about the skills they are looking for when they are recruiting.
When is it?
This event will run Tuesday 11th August between 1.00pm – 2.00pm, the event will run online via zoom.

The University of Suffolk have put together a set of brand new virtual taster sessions to give potential applicants in years 11-13 the chance to explore studying the subject at university, meet one of their lecturers and ask any questions they might have.
